The longest-running fundraiser of the Nichi Bei Foundation, Nichi Bei Day with the A’s, launched in 2010, helps to promote fellowship and build community in a fun and relaxing setting while cheering on the Oakland Athletics. Raffles are held in our respective sections. Some 950 tickets were sold at our 2023 Nichi Bei Day with the A’s, bridging together the Japanese and Japanese American community with the love of sports.

*This event is a fundraiser for the Nichi Bei Foundation, publishers of the Nichi Bei Weekly Japanese American community newspaper, to help fulfill our mission of keeping the community connected, informed and empowered. The Nichi Bei Foundation will donate partial proceeds to My Sister’s House, a domestic violence shelter for Asian Pacific Islander women and children.
